What’s happening in our neck of the woods?
Yet again we find ourselves approaching winter, wondering where did the year go and what have we been up to?
After welcoming our 3rd child Leora in January we got stuck into the renovation of our first fruit shop in Swan Hill.
Swan Hill Fresh - Produce Collective. We’ve spent many nights working till 2 or 3am with a paint brush in hand, countless trips to bunnings and the local paint shop, and we couldn’t be happier with what’s coming together. We have painted the walls and ceiling, refurbished all our display bins, brought in new shelving and around 100 new products to fill those shelves.
There’s still plenty to go and our dreams are big, but we are so glad to have got cracking. To top it off we had Jo, our new store manager begin last week and to say she’s blown us away would be an understatement.
Bendigo is keeping our legs moving as fast as ever as we now proudly supply Stoneman’s IGA. The locals there are bringing a beautiful offering to Strathdale, if you haven’t been out its worth a trip. It’s a great example of an independent family run grocer, that we are enjoying working with.
The team here in Bendigo are busy as always pumping out your home delivery orders and dropping off to the local cafes and pubs. We’re blessed to have a team that make every day a whole lot of fun, there’s not a day that goes by that jokes aren’t being told or a nicknames being made up. If you’re looking for a great team to join, there’s always room for the right person on the bus!
Hope you’re doing well as you prepare for the cooler months ahead, sincerely Pete, Rochelle & Annie
